Forty-five miles across the Severn, an hour door to door, and since the tolls on the Prince of Wales Bridge were removed it is one of the better-value long-ish journeys we do. Cardiff city centre, Cardiff Bay, the Principality Stadium and Cardiff Airport (CWL) are all fixed-price runs.
No bridge toll — and no hidden extras
There is no charge to cross the Prince of Wales Bridge in either direction, so nothing is added on the way. The figure quoted covers the vehicle, the driver, the fuel and the mileage both ways.
Match days and concerts
The Principality Stadium empties eighty thousand people into the centre of Cardiff at once, and at that moment there is no taxi to be found. Book your return when you book the outbound and your driver is waiting at an agreed point away from the crush.
Cardiff Airport (CWL)
Cardiff Airport is west of the city at Rhoose, about twenty minutes past the centre. We cover it in both directions with flight monitoring and meet and greet in arrivals, as with any other airport.
Drivers who know both cities
Knowing where the Cardiff one-way system will not let you turn, and how long the M4 around Newport really takes at half past five, is the difference between arriving on time and arriving eventually. Our drivers run this route weekly.
